Last September, Aysel started a master’s course in biology. She lives twenty minutes from the university and usually walks to her morning classes. On rainy days, she takes the bus. Her classes begin at nine, but she often arrives at half past eight to read her notes.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aysel works in the university library from two until five in the afternoon. She helps students find books and return borrowed materials. She enjoys the job because she meets students from different departments. The library is closed on Sundays.
Aysel studies with two classmates on Wednesday evenings. They meet in a quiet café near the campus and compare their answers to practice questions. Last week, the café was unusually noisy, so they moved to an empty classroom. They plan to use that classroom again if it is available. At the weekend, Aysel usually visits her family, but this Saturday she will stay in the city to prepare a presentation for Monday.
